Ooh I just love me some paper flowers 😍🌺🌸🌼 But I hate the time it takes to make one :(
If you’re someone who assembles their flowers petal by petal (and you know how time consuming it gets sometimes just to get one done 😩) and are looking for an easy to assemble flower template, then you've come to the right place!

So I decided to take manners in to my own hands and create a template that’s easy to make and that’s quick to assemble.
So today I’m sharing with you this free flower template that I have made and has made paper flower making as easy as 1 2 3!

Make a Paper flower using Cricut with Free Downloadable Flower Template
Here's a quick run down of how I assembled mine.
Upload the SVG template in to Cricut Design space and choose the number of layers for your petals you want to cut. In this example, I made a flower with 3 layers; a 7 petals, 5 petals and a 3 petals.
(I actually cut a 7 petals, 6 petals and a 5 petals layers at first which didn't look very nice, so I trimmed down my 6 petals to just 3).
Go ahead and cut the petals with the material you like. Here I'm using a medium weight card stock.
As you can see, the petals here are 7,6 and 5. So I cut my 6 petals layer to be just 3. You will see what I mean later ;).
Next, with a Pen or a pencil or a chopstick (I'm using my Apple pen), start rolling the petals outward and down to give them some volume and a more flowery realistic look.
Fold the lower parts of the petals inward. This is where we're going to glue our petals stacked on top of each other.
This is what you should have at this stage.
Bring the hanging flap at the end to the other side of the petal and glue them together.
Continue doing with the rest of the layers.
Now flip the the biggest layer and measure the diameter of it's bottom and cut a circle of same size.
This will be the base of the flower so go ahead and glue it to your biggest layer.
Stack your petals according to size (biggest to smallest). Play around with how you want your petals to sit on top of each other. Once you're happy, Glue them all together.
Measure the diameter of the bottom of your smallest layer and cut the flower center similar in size and glue.
And that's it! Your flower is now complete!

Learn How to Create a Hair Bow template in Cricut Design Space using basic shapes
Steps
First we have to create an oval. To do this, Create a circle. Unlock the shape aspect ratio by clicking the lock icon at the bottom left of the circle.
Drag the circle to make an oval.

Drag the circle to make an oval.

Duplicate this shape and move to the left or right. Make sure both shapes are aligned perfectly by going to edit bar and clicking on align 'center vertically'.
Select both and weld them.
You will need to create a long rectangle. More like a thick line. Do as we did with our oval. By unlocking the shape aspect ratio and dragging the shape.
Place this shape on top of our welded ovals. Make sure all shapes are aligned 'center vertically'.
Select all shapes and hit weld. This will be the loops of our bow.

Ok. On to the tail now.
First create a rectangle ( follow instructions as above).
Next, Create a triangle and unlock the shape aspect ratio. Place it at the bottom of our newly created rectangle and make sure the triangle has the same width as our rectangle. You can plug in the measurements of the width in the edit bar to be exact.

Ensure both the shapes are aligned. Select both and go to edit bar then choose Align then align 'Center Horizontally'.
The height of the triangle is really up to you. You can choose to have the cut in the tail short or long so resize accordingly.
Once you’re happy with this, select these shapes and click on slice. Delete unwanted bits.

OK! now on to the top of the tail.
Create a circle and a square. Use the square to cut the circle in half horizontally. You can do this by placing the square on the bottom half of the circle, select both and slice. Remove unwanted bits.
Place this half circle on the top part of the tail. Resize the width so it’s similar to the rectangle. Take your time and play around. Or you can manually plug in the width measurement of the half circle similar to the width of the tail in the edit bar. Select both and align them 'center horizontally'.

Our bow is finally coming together! Exciting!
Rotate the tail 90 degrees. Make a duplicate of the tail and flip it. Make sure both tails are aligned 'center vertically'.
Select both and weld. Next, create a rectangle similar to what we did for our ovals. Align the tail with this rectangle center vertically. Weld all together. Now you can just resize the tail so it's a bit smaller than the loops.

And that’s it!
You can take this a step further by adding more designs to your bow and making it unique and more you.
Like this bow I created. I added a few hearts to the loops to give it a more romantic valentiney ( is that even a word? Lol!)vibe. I also added an ice cream resin just because I love it!

So that’s it!
I Hope you learned something from this tutorial.
Cricut design space is truly amazing! With the few options they have made available, you can still get to create so many designs even complicated ones. It's a matter of using your imagination!
