Down here in Australia, we first had the destructive bush fires raging through our towns, then we had the floods up north and now the Coronavirus running wild across the globe. Unfortunately these uncertain times have become a reality for so many of us and Hope has become the only certainty we have to hold on to. We don’t know what the future holds and if you’re someone reading this post past 2020, I hope you are finding yourself in a much better situation than what we are currently experiencing. With more establishments shutting down and 'social distancing' (a term that has become so common) strictly in placed, we find ourselves not celebrating this Easter season the same anymore. This year, as we try to do our civil duty to protect our families and the most vulnerable members of our society by staying 'In', we have to become more creative to keep the spirit of Easter alive at least for our children. Since we cannot partake in egg hunt activities outside our homes with our friends like how we are accustomed to, why not celebrate it with our kids at home? Scatter and hide chocolate eggs around the house and let our kids run around in joy as they hunt for Easter eggs one by one? Social distancing to protect the community while having a quality time with our family. I think it's a total win-win! And so I hope by providing this free template, you can create those chocolate pouches for your little ones so they can use it to hold their priced goodies. These pouches are so versatile. The kids can keep them even long after Easter to hold their little treasures like jewelries, Hair clips and so on! I know the kids will love these adorable pouches just like my kids! So grab the pouch template now and make some!  Easter Bunny Treat Pouch (Free Downloadable Bunny pouch Template)Making these pouches is super easy! I'll walk you through it so you can have an idea of how to go about making them. First off, grab the free template from here. If you are a Cricut maker user, you can go ahead and upload the SVG file in to Cricut design space, follow the prompts and cut it with your machine (just another reason why I love my Cricut maker so much! You get to cut just about so many materials easily and conveniently). Don't forget to: 1-Load the rotary blade 2-Use the pink fabric grip mat Before cutting, make sure you have selected the right type of material for your fabric (e.g if it's 100% cotton, polyester etc). If you are a Cricut explore air 2 user, you CAN cut fabrics as well. However, you will need a Cricut Bonded-fabric blade. I have found a very informative blog by Alicia regarding cutting fabrics with Cricut explore air 2 here. If you don't have a Cricut maker, or any cutting machines for that matter, you can print then cut out the Free PDF provided, trace it on the fabric and cut it manually with a pair of scissors. Easter Bunny pouch Template  Make sure you remove the cut fabric as gently as you can to prevent too much fraying (as you can see in the image). Don't forget to cut 2 copies of this bunny head.  Next, place these 2 cut pieces on top of each other and sew (manually or with a sewing machine) all around the edges, leaving the opening at top of the bag.   Flip the bag inside out so that the sew side is now on the inside. Because the opening part of the pouch had some fraying, I went ahead and sew each flap separately.   Now comes the fun part! Time to decorate our pouch by adding a bunny face, accessories like flowers or bows or whatever you like using iron on vinyl. So be creative!  Cutting the Face of the bunny using everyday iron-on vinyl.  Cutting the ears using glitter iron-on.  Did you know you can buy a 'Make your own bunny' bundle SVG cut files from our shop where you get a great selection of SVG files you can mix and match to create your own perfect bunny face?  Buy Make your own Bunny SVG cut filesHow about some lashes to use for your cute bunnies?  Buy Lashes Bundle SVG cut filesGo ahead and iron on the bunny face on to the fabric using your Cricut Easypress. Make sure to select the right temperature and time depending on the type of fabric and vinyl you are using. Since I am using a 100% cotton fabric, my settings are: 155C for 30 Seconds (for the everyday iron-on vinyl and 170C and 30 seconds for the glitter vinyl).  Finally I cut a piece of ribbon to use to tie my bunny ears together to keep the eggs inside. Or you can just tie the bunny ears to eachother instead.  And that’s it! A super easy Easter project to make at the comfort of your home with very little materials. Here’s a quick run down of the steps to take:

- Trusty Cricut cutting machine. in this project I used my Cricut maker. However, you can use either a Cricut maker or a Cricut explore air 2
- Cricut easy press or Cricut easy press mini ( if you are going to use iron on vinyl)
- Faux leather. In any color you like.
- Some adhesive or iron on vinyl
- Leather glue
- Earring hook
- Needle nose pliers
Cut the faux leather with your cricut cutting machine using the Cricut purple cutting mat. Make sure the faux leather is facing shiny side down.
Cut your vinyl. Either an adhesive or an iron on vinyl. If you will be cutting an iron on vinyl, make sure the shiny side is facing down.
*When cutting the vinyls make sure you mirror them (in Cricut Design Space).

Glue each clover on itself. Let dry for a few minutes.
Transfer the adhesive vinyl on to the faux leather using a transfer tape or transfer the iron on vinyl with the help of a Cricut easy press or Cricut easy press mini.
Using a piercer or a sharp tool e.g scissors, make a hole at the top of the faux leather.
Insert an earring hook with the help of a pliers in to the hole.
Repeat for the other earring.

And that’s it! Your earrings are now ready to be worn or to be gifted.

Make this easy infant Bodysuit with a Cute cat face and a Fabric Bow
To make the fabric bow:
I simply cut 2 pieces of rectangles of the same size. A red fabric and a red tulle. You can get creative here with the color and pattern of fabric you use.
The size really doesn't matter. If you want a big bow, cut a bigger rectangle and if you want a small bow, cut a smaller piece. It's really up to you.

Next, I placed the tulle on top of the red fabric and folded them in half crosswise, ensuring that the tulle is placed inside.
Then I sew the edges, leaving a little opening at the end.

Using a long and thin tool (I used tweezers and pincer), start poking your fabric in to the opening, so the fabric turns inside out (the tulle should be on the outside).
Sew the opening so the rectangle is completely closed off.
Find the middle part of the rectangle by folding it crosswise and start stitching the center.
Pull the thread tight to gather the center. Wrap the thread a few times around the center before knotting off.
Finally, arrange the folds so the bow looks nice.

Gather your vinyls and start cutting them with your cricut cutting machine.
For the face, I used a plain black iron on vinyl while for the cheeks I used a red glitter iron on vinyl.

FREE Valentine's Day Heart and Arrow earrings SVG cut file
For this projects, you literally just need a few materials and tools and you can whip up this baby in less than five minutes!
What you will need:
- Trusty Cricut cutting machine. in this project I used my Cricut maker. However, you can use either a Cricut maker or a Cricut explore air 2
- Cricut easy press or Cricut easy press mini ( if you are going to use iron on vinyl)
- Faux leather. In any color you like.
- Some adhesive or iron on vinyl
- Leather glue
- Earring hook
- Needle nose pliers
First, grab your purple cricut mat and stick your faux leather to the top left side. Make sure shiny side is faced down.
Here’s a quick cheat sheet of which mat to use with which material.

Next, Open the free heart and arrow earrings SVG file in your Cricut design space.
Resize the earrings according to the size you wish your earrings to be. Big and bold to make a statement or small and sweet. It’s up to you ;)
Once you’ve decided on the size, go ahead and delete the arrows (for now) since we will be cutting the faux leather material first. Follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space as you cut.
Load your mat in to the cutting machine and press the Cricut button to cut. Unload the mat and remove the cut material.

Once the cutting is done, unload and remove all pieces from the mat.
Assemble all cut pieces.

If you will be using an adhesive vinyl, simply transfer the arrows using a transfer tape to the faux leather hearts.
However, if you’re using a heat transfer vinyl(like I did here), there’s a few additional steps that you need to take.
First, place the faux leather on a Cricut easypress mat or if you don’t have one, you can simply use a towel (this is to protect your work surface from heat damage).

Set your Cricut easy press to 160C for 20 seconds. Place the htv ( heat transfer vinyl) arrows on the faux leather then add a cloth or a soft plain shirt on top of everything to ensure not to burn the leather.
Place the Cricut easy press on top of the t shirt, press the Cricut button and wait for the countdown. Remove the shirt and let the vinyl cool down for 5 seconds then peel.
*It is worth mentioning that it's best to follow the htv manufacturer's instructions you are using as not all vinyls are made the same (heat setting, pressing and cooling time may vary). These are simply the settings that I've used for this particular vinyl (I am using vivid flex vinyl for this project).
Place the Cricut easy press on top of the t shirt, press the Cricut button and wait for the countdown. Remove the shirt and let the vinyl cool down for 5 seconds then peel.

With a jewelry pliers, add the hooks to each earring hole at the top of each heart. Unfortunately my Cricut maker wasn’t able to cut the holes (as they were too small), so I had to make the holes myself. Here, I used my Cricut weeder. You can make a hole using any sharp tool like scissors or the cricut piercer.
And that's it! Your earrings are now complete and ready to be worn! How easy was that?

Valentine's day Heart Keychain
Ever wanted to make your own keychain? Or rather, a heart keychain because you just love hearts? Well you’re in luck! Today I’m sharing this free keychain SVG cut file so you can create your own!
Here, I made one using faux leather.
For this project, I used the strong grip mat, which is the color purple, to make sure my faux leather stays in place and does not wiggle during the cutting process.
Then, I used a leather glue to attach both hearts together.

Because I wanted to make it more personalized, I went ahead and cut this simple 'MOM' and attached it to my faux leather. You can either use a heat transfer vinyl (HTV), just make sure you use the right heat settings on your Cricut easy press when attaching to the faux leather, or just a regular adhesive one.
