Earring hooks Cricut weeder Tool Some Transfer Tape Steps: The first step is to download the FREE Pumpkin SVG cut file that we will be using for this project. You can Grab it from below. Next, Open the SVG file in Design Space. As you can see in the Image below, there are 2 cut files. The (1)silhouette of the pumpkin will be the image we are going to use to cut our wood and the (2)colored pumpkin will be the image we will use to cut our vinyl. So go ahead and delete the top image (vinyl) and cut the pumpkin silhouette with your Cricut maker machine. *Make sure you follow the instructions in Design space as you go along and cut the wood. *Don't forget to use the strong grip mat (purple mat) and make sure you tape down your wood to the mat so it doesn't wobble around. After the machine finishes cutting, pop the pumpkins out. Next, go ahead and delete the pumpkin silhouette and cut the colored pumpkin with vinyl. Weed out the shape after the machine finishes cutting. Transfer the vinyls on top of the pumpkin wood cut out using a transfer tape. Because the Balsa wood is quite soft, I was able to use my Cricut Weeder tool to create a hole where the earring hook would go. If you will be using a thicker wood, you may have to use some other tool to create a hole (try scissors, Knife, Blade or anything sharp enough to pierce the wood). All that's left to do now is to add the earring hooks and you're done! If you Like this Tutorial, Don't forget to share it on Pinterest so others can make this easy project too!
